The Visual Record started in May of 2002 and now features over a thousand pictures. Most of them were taken in places that involved getting on an airplane, but there are a few from around home as well.

So... it's been a while since I've added any photos. Have I lost my passport, forgotten how to work a camera, joined a cult? No, no and well, maybe -- if you consider quilting a cult-like behavior (which you probably should).

Naw, I've just been a homebody lately. I've been puttering in the garden, learning the aforementioned quilting, getting reacquainted with books, taking belly dance classes. And, oh yeah, I went vegan, which means constant cooking is now pretty much mandatory (not that I'm complaining mind you, because YUM).

Of course, that doesn't mean I won't be getting out the Backpack-of-Insanely-Heavy-Camera-Equipment again in the future. I will definitely be traveling again! So, never fear, there will be more pictures of doorways and other exciting subjects to come. It may just be a while.
