Ireland was truly as beautiful as I had always heard it was.

I traveled there directly from Portugal and the difference was amazing. Both countries were remarkably beautiful in their own fashion, but the lush colors of Ireland were a welcome change of pace from the sun-blasted, whitewashed walls of Portugal.

Unfortunately, I was there for only ten days and didn't get to see half the things I wanted to see, nor spend near enough time at the places I did get to go to. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be heading back there the next chance I get.
