Lunar Eclipse
Waterholes Canyon

After a wonderful hour or two shooting sunset at Waterholes, we hiked back out to the vans and set up to shoot the full lunar eclipse that was occurring that night.
It was the first time I had witnessed one, and I really enjoyed watching the earth's shadow creep across the surface of the moon, leaving only a red-tinged rim behind it.
